When I shoot indoors, the location is usually the dependent variable. The aesthetics of space set the tone for what kind of lighting I’ll use. This room had plenty of existing light, a floor lamp and light colored walls. The furniture was simple so I decided to add character with a grainy texture. It looks retro in color or black and white.

The sytle and size of the jacuzzi was enough to create it’s own look and feel, so i pulled out the flash for a few shots to get smoother skin and definition. To keep the retro feel, I adjusted colors in processing for the last picture.
